Fashion Faves 2013 Review - Spring/Summer

Summer 2013 Faves

Looking back on the styles of 2013, I thought it would be nice to showcase a few of my favorite elements. I loved the bright and "easy breezy" feel of this past spring/summer (even though personally, I usually wear a lot of neutrals). The boho themes and diverse tribal prints were fantastic! A lot of the styles/silhouettes were kept basic, which I really enjoyed. It allowed for a lot of accessorizing! It was so much fun mixing and matching my wardrobe to create endless outfits for the season ;)

Spring/Summer 2013 Trend List:

  • Tribal Print
  • Boho
  • DIY-type Mom Jean Shorts
  • Loose Tees
  • Bright Colors
  • Sandals
  • Tote Bags
  • Sleeveless Collared Shirts
  • Feather Earrings
  • Eye-catching Statement Jewelry Pieces

Designer, seamstress, crafter, vegetarian, thrifter, model, and now…blogger.

It all started with me sewing at an early age, making doll clothing and the basic pillow-type things like most beginners. Soon enough, my hobby exploded into intricate Halloween costume projects, handmade clothing articles and accessories that I added to my day to day ensemble. At age 18, I decided to pursue fashion as a career, and went to college to obtain a degree in fashion/theatrical costume design.

I was lucky enough to start working in the fashion and costuming industry straight out of school…and here I am today, perpetually striving towards making my dreams a reality.
